The Automotive Dealership Institute is a nationally recognized college that trains individuals to become Automotive Finance and Insurance Managers or Automotive Service Advisors.

ADI's flagship course, Finance and Insurance Management, is a four-week program in Arizona. For dealership professionals who simply needed refreshers, taking four weeks off from work wasn't always feasible. To bridge this gap, ADI developed ADI Dealer Services.

The idea behind ADI Dealer Services was to provide individuals in the industry the tools and resources necessary to improve their skills at their convenience. ADIdealer.com was built as a Membership site using the Wordpress plugin, Wishlist Member.

Memberships are $15 monthly, $35 for three months and $59 for six months with full access to all resources on the site. Membership payments are collected through Paypal, and once a user has completed their checkout they are redirected back to the site where they may immediately start utilizing the materials.

The resources include:videos, ebooks, PDFs, formulas, graphics, calculations, tips and articles. The site is organized into five categories so users can study the areas pertinent to their own career. The other service that ADI wanted to provide to members was a Resume Exchange. With a current membership, users are able to post their resume in the category of their choice and also upload a headshot. To accomplish this task I used the TDO Mini Form plugin by Mark Cunningham.

This plugin made it possible for me to include numerous fields to collect the user's name, address, email, etc. along with a field to paste their current resume. Once the user previews, and then posts their resume, the administrator receives an email notifying them that a new resume has been posted. The administrator must "approve" the resume before it is posted.

For users of the site who are looking to hire for a position rather than post a resume, there is also a Resume Search. Since users who post resumes can choose a category for their resume, the Resume Search simply displays all posts in a certain category. If a user was looking for a particular resume from a specific state, they may use a customized search form that only searches within the resume categories. The Resume Search categories also provide a list of most recent resumes posted. This was accomplished in two ways. First off, all categories within the site have a custom sidebar depending on what category they are. All resume categories utilize the custom search form and also utilize a "recent post" function that only pulls from resume categories. This ensures that no articles or other resources get posted in the Recent Resume list.
