MG Investment Group Web Design & Development
MG Investment Group is a management consulting firm specializing in domestic and international business development, strategic planning, competitive analysis, executive-level negotiation and deal structuring. Despite being in business for more than 10 years, MG Investment Group did not have an existing website. After determining the importance of a web presence they contracted Wildcat Digital to design and develop their new company website.
While they had built a solid reputation, and developed an impressive client portfolio, MG Investment Group saw the need to create an online portfolio to showcase their:

- clients
- projects
- management team
Since MG Investment Group does not need to update content regularly (as with a news or blog section) nor do they have to communicate with their clients on a regular basis, Wildcat Digital designed and developed a classic static website for their needs. Built with PHP, the site is broken down into two main sections: the MG Investment Group portion which highlights clients, management and company information within a green theme; and the MG Solutions portion showcasing their online and print portfolios within a yellow theme.
Unique Feature
Providing an easy and fast way to share files with clients was one area that MG Investment Group was interested in exploring. Wildcat Digital developed a unique password protected client manager to give MG Investment Group and their clients a simple way to exchange large files. Using an FTP client to upload files to their server was not a good solution, nor was creating download links to pull down large files, but since most shared servers impose a strict limit on the size of a PHP upload Wildcat Digital utilized a flexible script to break large files down into smaller pieces and then upload the smaller bits individually. Once all of the pieces are uploaded they are then reassembled at the server to recreate the original file. Another script is utilized to show the contents of a directory so that all uploaded files may then be easily downloaded.
