VisionMenu Powersports eAcademy Microsite

Well-known F&I trainer, Ron Martin, recently developed a six hour online training course geared toward F&I Managers at Powersports dealerships. Wildcat Digital built a microsite for the training that will be available to all VisionMenu clients. Those dealers that use the VisionMenu software will have full access to the microsite and the training.

Unique Feature

In order to give users a clear picture of where they are in the training, the sidebar on the video pages is set up to highlight the current video that is being displayed. This allows the user to see how many videos they’ve watched, and how many videos remain.

Big D Auto Parts Web Design & Development

Big D Auto Parts is a leading automotive recycler of late model cars and light trucks. The company supplies cleaned and tested “like kind and quality” (LKQ) and remanufactured parts with a Parts and Labor Warranty tailored to the customer’s requirements. Big D Auto Parts contracted Wildcat Digital to design and develop a site where they could showcase their services, along with providing comprehensive forms to request auto parts and/or a total loss pickup.

Custom Sliders

Big D provided all of the imagery on the site. Photos were taken of their typical products and their warehouse to give the site a more realistic feel.

Unique Feature

Since Big D offers recycled auto parts to both the public and extended warranty companies, offering a robust online form to collect parts requests and total loss pickups was imperative. Big D needed a solid form to collect and email the proper data in order to efficiently deal with inquiries. The forms utilized on the site offer hardened security against spam ‘bots, header injection, cross-site scripting (XSS) and email harvesters. They are built with the end-user in mind, providing clear error-handling and an easy to follow path to completion. Upon submitting a form, the data is quickly emailed to the proper email addresses so that Big D can efficiently provide assistance to their customer.

MG Central Europe Scooter Infosheets

MG Central Europe contracted Wildcat Digital to design a series of infosheets for their inventory of scooters. These infosheets are distributed to dealerships to showcase the product and offer in-depth information about each scooter.

Fortune Logo Design

This logo was designed for MG Central Europe who asked for a design based off the idea of a four-leafed clover. Since this logo would be printed as a decal to be placed on scooters sold to the public, MG Central Europe also wanted something that resembled the simple, yet classic, logo designs of popular automotive brands like Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Citroën, etc. The following are some additional comps that were not chosen.

MG Central Europe Web Design & Development

MG Central Europe is a distributer of Jiangsu Sonik Motor Technology Co. scooters to the Slovak and Czech markets. Their website is designed and developed with the automotive dealer in mind, rather than the consumer. MG Central Europe needed a way to showcase their scooter inventory by featuring their individual scooter products. The home page has a featured slider to highlight their most popular scooters along with a “Hot Products” section to give a more detailed look at the scooters. Built with WordPress, the Scooter page is a custom built archive page to show smaller snapshots of their products along with prices. The WordPress backend makes updating products quick and efficient, and also provides an effective way to communicate with their dealers by way of a dealer login/manager.

Unique Feature

The individual scooter pages (which are technically WordPress posts) needed to contain a wealth of information that would be easy to navigate through. A good solution for this necessity was using tabs to provide the following: Overview, Specs, Gallery and Accessories. JQuery tabs were utilized to allow the user an easy way to jump between different types of content.

VisionMenu Web Design & Development

VisionMenu, Inc. markets VisionMenu, VisionDesk, and VisionReport software geared toward the automotive finance industry. These software products simplify the customer’s buying process and help the dealership sell more units, increase F&I products acceptance rate, and analyzes both sales and F&I profits.

VisionMenu Inc. contracted Wildcat Digital to design and develop a website that would be used as a partner site for their software site. They wanted a website to showcase their products and updates, so users of their software would be able to get up-to-date information regarding latest updates, online training videos and company news. Since the nature of the site was meant to be very dynamic and ever-changing, Wildcat Digital suggested using WordPress as a content management system (CMS). VisionMenu needed the flexibility to updated press releases, software updates, and add training videos when necessary.

Video Production

Unique Feature

VisionMenu President, Ron Martin, wanted the site to catch the user’s attention and be a show piece for his different software products. He knew from the onset that he wanted a product featured slider on the home page to showcase his seven products, and he wanted an eighth slide for marketing purposes. During the conceptual process the idea of an intro video surfaced, to replace the eighth static slide. In order to incorporate an intro video that would only play once but would allow all of the seven slides to continue rotating Wildcat Digital developed a Flash component to integrate into the home page. The home page checks for a cookie on the user’s computer, and if one is not present the video plays one time. Every time a user returns to the home page, instead of seeing and hearing the video, the seven slides simply rotate. Upon visiting the home page a cookie is stored on the user’s computer that lasts for three days.
